Introduction

• The thing that drew me to this subject was the
  fact that the David sculpture, in my opinion, was
  the most interesting art piece at the time.
  Michelangelo sculpted the David in the 1500s.I
  feel that it was better than the Mona Lisa. To
  make a David, I sculpted it onto a slab of clay.
  This is because it is easier to glaze rather than
  a 3D piece.

The 1500s

• In my opinion, I dont think that there were
  too many interesting pieces of art. The David and
  the Mona Lisa are probably the only two that I
  can name. The Mona Lisa is not that appealing to
  me because it is painted. The David was sculpted
  which takes a lot more time rather than a
  painting.

Why I chose the 1500s

• I chose the 1500s because I feel that it has
  the two most interesting art pieces. I found that
  the David was more interesting than the Mona
  Lisa. They are both great pieces of art but the
  David was more appealing.
