5ROMES GOALS
- Rome is a mineral exploration company committed
to maximizing shareholder value by focusing on
the discovery development of open-pit mines
for - (i) bulk/Carlin type gold-silver deposits,
and - (ii) porphyry copper-tungsten-molybdenum-gold
deposits - Because exploration has defined a number of
drill-ready properties because drilling is
critical to advancing these properties Romes
goal in 2009 is to drill-evaluate two of its
most exciting properties La Colorada Au-Ag
bulk/Carlin Don Luis copper-tungsten-molybde
num-gold greisen porphyry - Success in either or both of these projects
would be enormously profitable for investors
RMR Slide 5/29
6TARGETS LA COLORADA
LA COLORADA BULK/CARLIN GOLD-SILVER
- La Colorada heap-leach (Eldorado Gold) produced
at least ½ million ounces of gold from two open
pits - Romes extensive holdings surrounding the
decommissioned La Colorada property could hold
several equivalent mines - A 10km by 1km soil-gold geochemical anomaly
emphasizes the high probability of discovery - The discovery target, therefore, is more than
1 million ounces of gold (plus silver)
Geological detail follows proposed budget slide

7TARGETS DON LUIS
DON LUIS GREISEN-PORPHYRY TUNGSTEN-GOLD-MOLYBDENU
M-COPPER OPEN PIT PROJECT
- Geology, geochemistry and induced polarization
geophysics outline two spectacularly
anomalous blocks that are prime drilling
targets - Both target blocks are at least 500m long x
300m wide x 400m deep representing a
combined 300 million tonne total potential - Should these blocks be significantly mineralized
the property will join the ranks of world
class porphyry deposits

La Colorada

82009 BUDGET PROPOSAL
- SUMMARY BUDGET FOCUS IS ON 2 PROJECTS
- LA COLORADA BULK SILVER-GOLD PROJECT,
- DON LUIS TUNGSTEN-GOLD-MOLY-COPPER
GREISEN-PORPHYRY DEPOSIT
DRILLING PROGRAM WOULD TAKE ABOUT 2 MONTHSNEWS
WOULD FOLLOW FIRST MONTH OF WORK
Geological details on these two projects follow

9LA COLORADA PROJECT Bulk-mineable gold-silver
deposits in Sonora, Mexico
- ROMES LA COLORADA PROJECT
- Is within Sierra Madre Trend
- Is in a historically significant gold mining
area (since Pancho Villa to Eldorado Golds
mine production gt ½ million ounces) - Has 24,200 hectares by direct application
- Hosts, within Romes property, many small
old mines - Has discovered a major soil- gold anomaly
that is10km E-W by 1km N-S - Is guided by porphyry and Carlin type gold
deposit models for bulk-tonnage, open-pit
discovery
Rastras at Esmeralda mine are within area staked
by Rome
RMR Slide 9/29
10 LA COLORADA BULK AU-AG PROJECT WITHIN THE
SIERRA MADRE TREND
- SIERRA MADREAU-AG TRENDHOSTS MORE THAN
- 40 million ounces of gold, and
- 2 billion ounces of silver
Romes La Colorada gold property surrounds a
major decommissioned heap leach mine lies
within the enormously productive Sierra Madre
trend of gold silver deposits in northwestern
Mexico
RMR Slide 10/29
11LA COLORADA BULK AU-AG PROJECT
- AN AREA WITH
- A great address within the Sierra Madre Au-Ag
trend - A newly discovered, major soil-geochemical gold
anomaly coincident with or peripheral to
Cu-Mo anomalies - Anomaly (red in figure) is 10km long E-W 1km
wide N-S
Rome holds about 24,200 hectares around the
decommissioned heap-leach gold mine atLa
Colorada village (La Colorada Mine Core)
RMR Slide 11/29
12LA COLORADA BULK AU-AG PROJECT
ROMES AREA HAS HIGH POTENTIAL BECAUSE
- Porphyry-gold and Carlin-gold mineralization
styles are characteristic - Many significant old gold mines occur within
Romes claims - A 10km E-W by 1km N-S regional soil-gold geochem
anomaly (based on lines 2km apart) has been
found recently - Romes new anomaly, with E-W trend Cu-Mo
geochem association, mimics mineralization
signatures at the La Colorada Gold Mine - The area still is unexplored by detailed, modern
geochemical and exploration methods

14 DON LUIS W-AU-MO-CU GREISEN-PORPHYRY
DEPOSITOPEN PIT MINE POTENTIAL in Sonora, Mexico
- Site of World War II dry-placer operations
for then strategic tungsten - Great address in Cananea porphyry belt
- Unique greisen-porphyry host rock with
intense muscovite alteration - Spectacular highly significant brain
rock pegmatite (stockscheiders), such as
at Creston, 40km to north - Tungsten-gold-moly-copper ( minor tin)
association is rare, but all metals are valuable - Alteration comparable to bulk-mineable
greisens in Australia, Spain Vietnam - Supergene depleted copper might indicate
enrichment blanket at shallow depth - Area accessible with great infrastructure
Alterationspires of hematite limonite quartz
pegmatite
Brain texture is common points to major
moly deposit potential

15 DON LUIS W-AU-MO-CU GREISEN-PORPHYRY DEPOSIT
- Don Luis Property lies within theCananea
Creston porphyry copper-molybdenum trend - Cananea is huge! gt2,100 million tonnes
grading 0.6 Cu - Crestons recent reserves are 177 million
tonnes grading 0.071 Mo 0.046 Cu
using 0.03 Mo-equivalent cut-off grade - Don Luis could be a world class porphyry
deposit -
