Admitting Patients EDI
  • The general process when admitting patients via
    EDI
  • An DO authorized to use the EDI feature submits
the data (entered by facilities) to CROWNWeb.
This includes newly added patients, patients that
may have transferred from another facility, etc.
  • CROWNWeb processes the data. It then
  • NEW PATIENTS - CROWNWeb creates a new patient
    record.
  • EXISTING PATIENTS - CROWNWeb automatically
discharges the patient from his/her current
facility, then admits the patient into the new
    facility and updates treatment records.
  • CONFLICTS CROWNWeb flags the record for
    attention
