History of Excavation

• There is no history of excavation because the
  tiki heads cannot be excavated.

Artifacts

• The artifacts that are most important are the
  Giant Tiki Heads. These heads were spiritual Gods
  that were worshiped. They were carved out of the
  side of a dormant volcano and were carried to
  there place in a small field. The eyes were
  thought to be able to see into the hearts of the
  villagers with the whites(colored with bird
  droppings) of their eyes.

Location and Description

• Easter Island is located in the Pacific ocean.
  There is lots of vegetation , animals and very
  good growth soil. It is one of the worlds most
  isolated islands and it is considered part of
  Chile.

Cultural Data

• Most of the natives wore lion skin.Cannibal was
  popular so the tribal leaders ate the
  villagers.When they were not eating theyre
  friends, the people ate small animals and made
  gardens and small farms They usually slept
  outside but when the weather got cold, they built
  small huts out of tall grass.
