    service solicitations
  • Allow SMEs of pre-collectors to compete for
    public service solicitations and obtain contracts
    with the appropriate authority.

RESULTS ACHIEVED
  • Official launch of Urbis/Abidjan in September
    2008
  • Activity 1 Water supply to slums
  • Identification and selection of all local
    trainers in 4 slums to teach households how to
  • a) access a government subsidy to register and
    connect to the water network b) more efficiently
    manage water and its hygienic use c) pay bills
    on time to ensure sustainable access to this
    service.
  • Training of trainers.
  • Mobilization of households to participate in
    Urbis program.

  • Training of pre-collectors completed in business
