Status of Firmware

• TPSFE, TBS and S9011A firmware ready and
  validated since July
• QM2 board FPGA burn-in foreseen within November

Modification to TBS

• During test we found a problem with QM1 TBS.
• QM2 TBS need to be reworked in order to overcome
  this problem.
• Documentation for FM/FS production modification
  already received at CSIST

General design review (P.Lipoma)

• The general architecture and the schematics were
  reviewed
• No major design problems were found in the
  general design review

Parts review (L. Li)

• Parts were reviewed using LM database data as
  well as AMS data.
• Although a general disclaimer about using
  commercial grade parts in plastic packege was
  made no weak components were found only the
  replacement of UC2843D8 with its military
  conterpart UC1843.
• This work is still ongoing

Thermal review (G. Clark)

• This review examoned the thermo vacuum tests
  performed in the QM1 boards.
• The tests were conducted reasonably. But the low
  operating temperature ( -20 C) and the low
  non-operating temperature (-35 C) seleted for
  this test were too high.
• The suggestion for the forthcoming QM2 test are
  25 C as low operating temperature and at least
  50 C if not less less for the non operating
  temperature

Material review (H.Kao)

• The materials used in the production of QM2 and
  FM/FS were reviewed.
• All materials were accepted, some without
  conditions, some because they are used in small
  quantities (like vibratite and THERM A FORM 642),
  some others because not exposed overcoated and
  with no ignition or propagation path like
  Solothane 113 and RTV 566 and some because its
  components were appruved.

Test of QM2 boards

• QM2 TPSFE, TBS, TBP, S9011A and S9011B needs to
  be tested after the burn-in of FPGA.
• This functional test should be performed within
  First half of December.
