Baxvis Joint Venture
  • BaxVis the Joint Venture formed with Baxter Group
    Limited and Visy Paper has progressed
    substantially since announcement to the Market.
  • Extensive global research for best methods and
    equipment suited for the recovery of recyclable
    products specific to Baxters waste stream.
  • Waste Audit undertaken which identifies
    substantial quantities that are able to be
    recovered from waste to landfill.
  • The Resource and Recovery operation commenced at
    Fraser Road site in late April 2005.
  • Construction of the Resource and Recovery
    facility at Victory Road is well under way and is
    scheduled for completion in June 2005.

Green Cell Trials
  • Gate fees will be received at all times from both
    putrescible and inert landfill sites by Baxter
    Group Ltd.
  • Preservation of airspace, thus providing for
    longevity to the sites lifespan and in addition
    providing for future increases in gate fees.
  • EPA landfill levy rebates on all waste recovered
    and diverted from landfill.
  • Additional revenue stream from sale of various
    recyclables.
  • Green Cell
  • 1. Diversion of green waste currently being
    sent to landfills.
