About Mary

• Mary Terrell was born into a wealthy family in
  Memphis. She believed strongly in equal rights,
  and fought for them. She believed strongly in
  education and was a really devoted author. Her
  dad was a wealthy real estate business person who
  was a former slave. But to much disbelief, even
  though Mary was rich, she was still discriminated
  against because of her skin color. She was
  against, and opposed to prejudice people. She
  fought for her, and people like hers justice.
