Step 1 - injection before elution of the PAH
fraction, the eluent from the silica column is
discharged
Step 2 - solvent evaporation the PAH fraction
eluting from the silica column is introduced in
the solvent evaporator (SE), analytes are
retained by the packed chamber while vapours are
discharged through vacuum
Step 3 - analyte transfer analytes are desorbed
from the SE and transferred to the amino column
by pump 2
