Radioactive Particles Emittedand How the
Radiation is Used

• Alpha Particles are emitted when industrial
  quality control is used.
• The radiation is used (out of many things) to
  detect the thickness of industrious materials,
  and aircraft manufacturers to check for flaws in
  jet engine.

The Benefits
The benefits of Industrial Quality Control, is
that it allows materials to be measured and
maintained at a constant thickness and at an
excepted standard.

The Risks

• Considering the fact that Alpha Particles are
  emitted during this process, there is very little
  danger in this.

• There is very little hysteria where Industrial
  Quality Control is concerned. It is mainly an
  understood practice, and usually the only people
  who should be cautious are those who perform
  these acts.
