information - Communicate directly with Wal-Mart associates and

Approver reviews approves or rejects it.
Document enters a Request Queue
Creator reviews and submits document
Creator generates a document request in ADP
Associate writes a document or news posting

- Wal-Mart associate who
- Has access to ADP
- Is responsible for entering document requests in
ADP for their division - Has an understanding of Retail Link
- Has an understanding of what information should
and should not be communicated through Retail Link

- Approved by divisional director
- Successfully complete Creator Training
- Granted access by ISD

8So How Do I Create Documents?
- Step 1 Write the document
- Step 2 Determine where the document should be
placed in Retail Link - Step 3 Translate the document
- Step 4 Create the document in ADP
- Step 5 Monitor status and make changes if
necessary

- Anyone can create a document to be posted
- The document should be approved by the division

- Finalize the document and titles in English
- Send the document to the translation department

First you must have access to Retail Link and ADP.
Lets Get Started!

Now that youve submitted your document you must
monitor its status to ensure it is published.
From your Left Menu, click on Document Request

Every document you are working on or have
submitted will appear in My Requests.
Lets take a look at the My Request screen and
Ill show you how to monitor the status of your
document.
Yes, ADP saves your work for you so you can come
back and make changes at any time before
submitting.

20ADP Policies
- Documents must be posted in both French and
English (including titles) - Documents should have a valid business need for
communication - Documents should be grammatically sound
- Documents must be approved by the respective
division. - You may also want to review your documents for
legal requirements before posting.

So thats why its important to get division
approval before submitting!
