• As of May 1st we were facing a 600 bed shortage
• Game Plan
• Offer 2,000 incentive to move student off-campus
• Triple some rooms and fill lounges
• Circles Residents were given the option to add a
  student and would be given the double-rate.
• Local incoming students were offered 2,000 to
  commute with a guarantee of future housing.
• Money was offered to students as incentive to
  study abroad in London or Washington, DC.
• 10,000 offered as a gap-year initiative for
  students to defer for a year.

• 122 Upperclassmen moved off campus

• 200 Students in Lounges
• 84 Tripled rooms

• H1N1 (Swine Flu Update)
• 247 symptom cases on the IC Campus since the
  Beginning of the year.
• 130 of those symptom cases were students who
  utilized the MyHome portlet to self-report.
• No student at IC has been hospitalized for H1N1.

• Approved Minutes from May 2009 Meeting.
• Approved all resolutions brought to the board by
  its various committees.
• The board approved the Facilities and Ground
  Committees recommendation that the Climate Action
  Plan proposed be passed as a guideline for ICs
  commitment to carbon Neutrality by 2050.
