- In 2007, ESPNs second season of Monday Night
Football solidified its position as the most
watched series in cable history. - MNF averaged an 8.6 rating and 8,277,000 homes
(11,230,000 P2) the accompanying Monday Night
Surround content on ESPN.com sparked an increase
of Monday traffic to the site of 36 over the
previous season. - In two seasons on ESPN, Monday Night Football has
registered seven of the top 10 all-time biggest
household audiences in cable history, led by - 12/3/2007 New England Patriots-Baltimore Ravens
telecast attracted cables largest audience ever
with 17.5 million viewers

in primetime. - An average of 2,329,00 households throughout the
week. - For the past 11 consecutive weeks, ESPN has led
all cable networks in delivery of adult men on a
total-day basis, as well as men 18-54.

Number of Avid Fans as a of overall Fans
- In addition to having the largest overall fan
base, the NFL ranks 1 among all sports in Fan
Intensity. - Nearly half (49.4) of NFL fans consider
themselves an Avid Fan out-performing sports like
College Football and NASCAR which we commonly
think of as avid sports. - The NFLs avid fan base is also growing with 25
more avid fans in 2007 than there were in 2002.

- Monday Night Football is the most-successful and
longest-running primetime sports program in the
history of television - Monday Night Football has a 38-year tradition of
appointment viewing - ESPN and Monday Night Football combine two of the
strongest names in sports.
9MENS FAVORITE PROGRAMMING ARE ON ESPN
- Marketing Evaluations, Inc. recently released
their Cable Q report for programs in Q.4 06.
ESPN programming accounted for 3 out of the top
10 ad-supported programs named as a favorite
among M18, M18-49, and M25-54, with Monday Night
Football and SportsCenter ranking in the 1 and
2 spots for each of these age groups. Four ESPN
programs placed in the top 10 favorites among
M18-34. SportsCenter and Monday Night Football
also ranked in the top ten among Hispanics (4
and 7, respectively) and African-Americans (9
and 4, respectively).
