Wiki governance issues to consider

• Wikis should have different look feel than
  sites with official structured content
• Define any rules concerning usage and appropriate
  range of topics
• Determine guidelines for deleting abandoned
  sites
• If possible, create a scheme for site ownership
• Set expectations on the level of user support
  that will be provided
• Set search scopes to include or exclude wikis
