How the outcome is determined
  • The question with the highest dollar amount with
a majority (gt50) will be enacted

6
Example 1
  • IF
  • 4a (highest) receives 51

4a wins 6,970,000

4b wins 5,656,000

Example 3
  • IF
  • 4a receives 41
  • 4b receives 49
  • 4c receives 51
  • THEN

4c wins 4,650,000

10
To make your vote count
  • Vote on all three questions
  • Vote yes for the highest level you support and
    all levels below that amount
  • The dollar amounts will not be added together
  • The question with the highest dollar amount with
    a majority will be enacted

11
Why you cant just vote for the one you want--an
example
  • If 20 of the town voted yes for 4a only
  • and 20 of the town voted yes for 4b only
  • and 20 of the town voted yes for 4c only
  • Then although 60 of the town voted in favor of
the override, it would fail because no question
    received a majority.

12
Make your vote count
  • To support the highest level
  • 4a-YES 4b-YES 4c-YES
  • To support the middle level
  • 4a-NO 4b-YES 4c-YES
  • To support lowest level
  • 4a-NO 4b-NO 4c-YES
  • To support no override
  • 4a-NO 4b-NO 4c-NO
