SSO in stage 2

• ESO was not prime investigator - but important
  for archive interface.
• Globus 4 - MyProxy and GridFtp set up.
• Pure java client written to upload using gridftp
  and proxy certificates using java COG.
• Some preliminary evaluation of tools such as
  Shibboleth, PERMIS and PURSE

Proposed Work - UWS

• UWS
• Continue with CEA/Application schema work to be
  included in Registry v1.0 schema in IVOA Registry
  WG tiger team.
• Parameter definition extensions
• Prototype commandline CEC to use WS-Resource and
  WS-Notify in order to be UWS compliant.
• Multi execution sessions.
• Collaborate with DS4 to try to make user tools
  UWS compliant where appropriate.

• How to Register.
• Write prototype VOSpace interface for NGAS

• SSO essential for Archive
• AG Community component not sufficient
• need MyProxy management (cf PURSE)
• needs to be more modular - user database already
  exists in ESO
• Need SAML authorization?
