Naval Special Warfare Development Group is
responsible for the research, development,
testing and evaluation of state of the art,
commercially procured and modified equipment in
support of Naval Special Warfare operational
forces.

The group is further responsible for
the evaluation of advanced maritime, ground,
and airborne tactics that may be applicable to
Naval Special Warfare, and to assist in the
determination of the suitability and
implementation of the equipment and tactics for
the use by Naval Special Warfare, the Department
of the Navy and the Department of Defense.

Eligibility requirements 1. Volunteer 2.
Recommended by your C-O-C 3. Four Year
Commitment 4. Physically Fit No medical
problems that will prevent PT/strenuous
physical activity 5. No NJP, civil offenses or
alcohol related incidents for past 3
years 6. Able to meet security requirements for
TS clearance 7. Be a U.S. citizen 8. Qualify
as a 2nd class swimmer

of the box qualifications (Jump, Coxswain, Fast
