20Trucks and Railway Platforms Unloading Control
Solvo.CTMS provides container stock-taking on
unloading railway platforms and trucks. It
provides possibility to view current transport
state through all handling stages, including
control on terminal entrance.
20
21Container Location
Containers are located in the terminal according
to the rules set in Solvo.CTMS with opportunity
to indicate owner, length, type of goods in
container, etc. Vertical locating order is
determined by the system according to optimality
criteria.
21
22Routing
Routing is used to move containers between
container terminal zones using various types of
equipment.
Route description in the system
Transit cell
22
23Support of All Equipment Types
Solvo.CTMS supports all equipment types used on
the container terminal. Equipment is located in
the system by zones. Each type of equipment uses
its own algorithm.
23
24GPS Integration
Base Reference Station
GPS integration allows eliminate loss of
containers on the terminal and speed up data
entry by identifying a logic cell by geographical
coordinates and state of spreader grip.

32Project cost-efficiency
- Attractiveness for customers due to advanced
technologies implementation (an inflow of new
clients increases on average by 10) - Availability of new services (3 from existing
yearly throughput) - Electronic data exchange with linear operators
(EDI/EDIFACT/XML), that reduces data input
errors, speeds up freight turnover and, in
addition, offers high-tech image - Report on every operation is available for
customers - Container status report in real time mode
- New services available for customers such as
operative container replacement in load series,
additional checks, weighing, stuff/un-stuff, and
identification of empty containers by extra
features - Contracts with fixed processing time are
available for customers that assist freight
overturn increase
