• CEERIA - School of Education, Rehabilitation and
  Integration in Alcobaça, Portugal, is a private
  institution of social solidarity.
• This non-profit organization was constituted in
  1976, December 3rd, and its aim is to promote the
  unprotected or handicapped person through
  education, rehabilitation, valorisation and
  social / professional integration.

CEERIA

• At present CEERIA has 75 workers and provides
  support to 370 users divided by the following
  sectors
• Educational Sector for children aged 6/18, who
  do not have the necessary condition to attend
  regular school
• Occupational Activities Centre for people over
  16 years old, who have severe mental handicaps
  and are not able to attend professional training
  programmes
• Professional Training and help in the integration
  in the labour market
• Residential Homes for people who do not have a
  family or whose family does not have the
  necessary conditions to support them.
• Besides these, CEERIA offers other services to
  the community.
