SHARE
  • SHARE is the system which districts use to
    participate in Rotary Foundation programs.
  • Each district's contributions to the Annual
Programs Fund are split, with 50 percent going to
the district (District Designated Fund), which
can be spent on programs of the districts
choice, and 50 percent going to The Rotary
Foundation (World Fund), which funds programs for
    which every district may apply.

Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it a Matching Grant that supported a school
for down syndrome children in Buenos Aires,
Argentina? Was it seeing the faces of the
students at Churchland Elementary School playing
on a new playground partially funded by a
District Simplified Grant to celebrate Rotarys
100th anniversary?
22
Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it hearing Trey Childress, Christine
DeTriquet, or Dan Owens talk about their
experience as Ambassadorial Scholars, how they
were able to promote goodwill in England, Italy,
and Argentina, and how the scholarship had a
positive impact on their lives.
23
Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it making new friendships with the Group
Study Exchange team members from the British
Virgin Islands?
24
Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it participating in a Discovery Grant to
visit Honduras that eventually resulted in the
Julia P. Knight medical clinic.
25
Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it Mike Moreland telling us that individually
he could not change the world but through Rotary
and The Rotary Foundation he could, and he did.

Why should you support EREY?
