21Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it a Matching Grant that supported a school
for down syndrome children in Buenos Aires,
Argentina? Was it seeing the faces of the
students at Churchland Elementary School playing
on a new playground partially funded by a
District Simplified Grant to celebrate Rotarys
100th anniversary?
22Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it hearing Trey Childress, Christine
DeTriquet, or Dan Owens talk about their
experience as Ambassadorial Scholars, how they
were able to promote goodwill in England, Italy,
and Argentina, and how the scholarship had a
positive impact on their lives.
23Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it making new friendships with the Group
Study Exchange team members from the British
Virgin Islands?
24Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it participating in a Discovery Grant to
visit Honduras that eventually resulted in the
Julia P. Knight medical clinic.
25Why do you give to Every Rotarian, Every Year?
Was it Mike Moreland telling us that individually
he could not change the world but through Rotary
and The Rotary Foundation he could, and he did.
