Regional Offices in Brussels
  • Over 300 regional offices in Brussels from almost
    all member states
  • Represent the regions interests in Brussels, and
    report back to the regions on EU policies and
    programmes (eyes ears of the regions)
  • Lobby the EU institutions (MEPs, Commission,
    Council, CoR), on relevant EU policies and
    network with other regional offices, European
    organisations
  • Support to bids for EU funding (providing info on
    calls for proposals/ tenders, partner searches,
    current and future funding programmes, liaise

    European audiovisual sector in an open and

Citizens for Europe
  • addresses major challenge of the EU how to
    bridge gap between citizens and EU
  • 3 different programmes actions
  • Action I Active citizens for Europe involves
    citizens directly, either through activities
    linked to town-twinning or through other kinds of
    citizens projects.
  • Action II Active civil society for Europe is
    targeted to Europe-wide civil society
    organisations, receiving either structural
    support on the basis of their work programme or
    support to trans-national projects.
  • Action III Together for Europe supports high
    visibility events, studies and information tools,
    addressing the widest possible audience across
    frontiers and making Europe more tangible for its
    citizens.
