The LASER

• Light normally travels in straight lines called
  RAYS or BEAMS. You can see this using a LASER.

We can make light rays change direction using
lenses.

Convex Lenses
The fatter the lens, the more it changes the
direction of the light rays

Concave lenses
These lenses make the rays bend outwards, away
from the centre. The fatter the lens, the more
the rays bend.
