• To study the effect of Alocasia Indica powder in
  malnourished small children
• To study the intelligence level among
  malnourished children

• Age of children 1 ½ yrs to 5 ½ yrs
• Basis of selection Body weight, height,
  clinical examination
• No. of Groups Two
• Period of study 120 days

Ingredients of the feeding mixture

• Alocasia Indica powder
• Skimmed milk powder
• Sugar

• Height and weight
• Haemoglobin content in blood
• Total Serum protein
• Assessment of intelligence

Results and Discussion

• Significant height and weight gain among subjects
• Paleness of the eyes, hair pluckability and
  Oedema decreased
