Why have MCS?

• Grant funding is only available to consumers
  who have their installations provided by
  registered MCS installers, also using MCS
  certified products
• It provides greater protection for consumers
  and ensuring that the taxpayers grant money is
  spent in an effective manner
• The proposed Feed in Tariffs (FITS) and
  Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) initiatives
  will only be supported by MCS registration

• FITS Feed In Tariffs
• In its simplest form, any electrical energy you
  produce can be sold back to the grid at a set
  standard fee to be introduced in 2010
• RHI Renewable Heat Incentive
• In its simplest form, any heat energy you
  produce can receive a payment back from the
  Government to be introduced in 2011
