Hello everyone! Greetings from the Isle of Man!
I wish I could be there to say hello to you
personally. I have been here on the Island for
three months, teaching and doing research (yes,
the students here are learning the same things
you did in 312W!) The Manx people are friendly
and welcoming and the Island is starting to look
beautiful and green.
101
Because the Island is only 39 miles long and 13
miles wide, everywhere there is a beautiful sea
view! How can a person get stressed here when
the beach is only a few minutes walk away?
102
See what I mean?
103
There is a lot of ancient history here, from
medieval castles to Viking sites, to monoliths as
old as Stonehenge. I leave today (April 26) to
go to Wales and then to teach in Rome. I am
having lots of fun, but miss everyone in
Pennsylvania a lotI hope to see you or hear from
you when I get back in June.
