  ObjectEditorComp110 program that you have
  compiled
• Go through all the possible options and try them!
• Focus on the options available by clicking
  ObjectEditor in the menu
• To complete the task, follow the steps outlined
  in these slides
• When finished, check Blackboard to see what you
  need to submit as the Recitation 1 Deliverable

Running ObjectEditor

• You must first complete the installation
  procedure suitable for your machine.

• Open up a command prompt window
• Click on Start, then Run
• Type cmd and press Enter

• Please keep in mind these two rules when you
  enter operations shown in the next few slides in
  the command prompt window.
• Rule 1 Do not enter any double quote characters
• Rule 2 Type the exact text shown below. In
  particular, the case must match, and pay
  attention to the / and \ characters as they
  mean different things.

• In the command prompt
• Type cd \
• And press Enter
• The only text on the bottom most line should be
  C\gt

• In the command prompt
• Type cd comp110
• And press Enter
• You should see C\comp110gt on the bottom line
  and no errors

• In the command prompt window, type the following
• java classpath .oeall3.jar
  ObjectEditorComp110
• Press Enter and the following window should
  appear

• Go ahead and explore the functionality of
  ObjectEditor
• Focus on the options available in the
  ObjectEditor menu
• As you try each option, try to imagine what it
  actually does
