Miscellaneous Issues/Status (1)

• Global_CMT-8.20
• created jointly by Diehl, Gallas, Toole last
  Wednesday
• Used online Thursday 22-Aug 1918 (1680) with
  prelimary prescales to gather rates/rejection
• Prescale files 2.5, 5., 10., 20., 40.prescales
  files used in subsequent runs by assigning
  priority to each trigger, which determined
  prescales based on allowed maximum rate out

Ultra Unprescaled at all lum
High Up to 3 Hz
Medium Up to 1 Hz
Low Up to .25 Hz (0.5 in 8.1)
Extra low Highly prescaled or prescaled at 10M

• Using prescale files at the luminosity for which
  it was made (1st time)
• Overall Smooth running reported
• Typical global runs
• Runs many hours long. 2-500,000 events each
• L1A 2-300Hz ! / L2A90-130Hz /out20-60Hz
• Now limited in physics quality data to tape.
• Shuichi Kunori (on DAQ shift) using the 10E30
  prescale files at starting luminosity of 11.6E30

• New rate features seen in Michaels luminosity
  reports of 8.2
• Called SMOOTH by shifters, pathological by
  experts
• Trigger rate jumps between SCLINITs under
  investigation
• Help is requested

• 3 GeV threshold removed due to pedestal
  fluctuations
