USAF Thunderbirds Demonstration Jet Team and
aviators representing many of the aeronautical

of the media day extravaganza. There will most
likely be a media flight and a celebrity flight
with the special guest demonstration Jet Team on
Wednesday, May 21st at TAFB. May 23, 2008 -
Aviator, Sponsor and VIP Reception Select number
of guests from each sponsor will be invited to
join us at the beautiful Sheraton Midwest City
Hotel at the Reed Conference Center for heavy
hors deouvres and cocktails, to be recognized,
and to mingle with aviators and select
entertainers of the Star Spangled Salute. This
entertainment mix is a favorite of the pilots as
this is one of the very few Air Shows in the
nation to provide such a benefit to our pilots
and aviation teams that travel to Oklahoma City
to perform.

The Star Spangled Salute Air Show is held on
Tinker Air Force Base, which is a federal
installation. As such, partnership benefits are
limited and will be mutually agreed upon.

• May 24, 2008 - Star Spangled Salute Air Show,
  Concert, Fireworks 9 a.m. - 1030 p.m.
• The Star Spangled Salute Committee, comprised of
  Team Tinker, Eastern Oklahoma County Tourism
  Council, AeroSpace America, and STAAR Solutions
  are pleased to bring this full day aeronautical
  event filled with the power, speed, and grace of
  some of the hottest planes in the US today as
  they fill the sky with aeronautical acts that
  will take your breath away. Other acts include
  our spectacular Warbird planes, reenactments of
  former wars such as the Tora Tora Tora bombing
  display, and several civilian air demonstrations
  that will thrill crowds of all ages. From static
  displays and inside tours, to the childrens play
  zone, as well as exhibits, souvenir booths, food
  and beverages, this FREE event will be a great
  summer kickoff and the largest single day
  attended Air Show at Tinker Air Force Base to
  date with an estimated attendance well over
  100,000 for the Air Show.
• Saturday afternoon will be highlighted with the
  finesse, power, and ability of the US Air Force
  Thunderbirds Jet team with their aeronautical
  wizardry. Following the Air Show, US Air Force
  Tops in Blue, along with a special guest artist,
  TBA, will rock the night away. The night will
  then light up with a major fireworks display
  presented by the Eastern Oklahoma County Tourism
  Council.

  available on Tinker Air Force Base. No on-site or
