Title: An Exciting Event
1An Exciting Event
A first of its kind event in the music and
internet worlds was held at Carnegie Hall in New
York City on April 15th, 2009. It was the premier
of the YouTube Symphony a symphony made up of
people from all over the world who had uploaded
audition videos to YouTube. Any one with the
ability to play a musical instrument and the
desire to play classical music in a symphony was
invited to apply. The response was overwhelming
as was the concert. You will be looking at some
of the videos and going to Web sites to learn
about the musicians, the composer and the
director who worked so hard to make this all
happen.
