Bicycle Safety
Be aware of your surroundings. Obey all traffic
rules, signs, and speed limits. Its the law! Use
safety gear (helmet, headlamp, reflective
devices).
Ensure bikes are not parked by fire hydrants,
alarm boxes, extinguishers or rescue boxes, in
corridors, stairwells, doorways, or any other
place that would interfere with access to or from
buildings. Notify bus driver before loading or
unloading a bike. Enjoy the fresh air, exercise,
and reduced stress that comes with biking!
