• Anabolic steroids are a group of synthetic
  hormones that promote the storage of protein and
  growth of tissue.
• Most common types are
• Androgen
• Testosterone

  1998.
• 99 Home runs in seasons 1992-1995
• 245 Home runs in seasons 1996-1999

• 1st failed test-treatment
• 2nd failed test-15 day suspension or 10,000 fine
• 3rd failed test-25 day suspension or 25,000 fine
• 4th failed test-50 day suspension or 50,000 fine
• 5th failed test-1 year suspension or 100,000 fine
