Drivers Safety

• Who MUST take it?
• Employees, (including temps) volunteers, or
  contract employees that drive NHRMC vehicles
  (owned and/or insured by NHRMC) and employees who
  drive their own vehicles as a requirement of
  their job description.

Driver Safety Requirements

• Must complete initial Driver Safety within 30
  days of hire.
• Must complete a drivers safety test annually.
  Failure to complete results in rescheduling for
  the Drivers Safety Class.

Driver Safety Requirements (continued)

• Must have a valid North Carolina Drivers License.
• If you own the vehicle, you must have proof of
  valid insurance.
• Must have accumulated less than 7 points
  accumulated against your drivers license.

Annual Testing

• If you have already completed the initial Drivers
  Safety Class and it is approaching the one year
  anniversary, please take this test and give to
  the Safety Tour Proctor.
• Failing the test (score of 70 or below) results
  in scheduling for the next Drivers Safety Class.
