• The goals of this project are to analyze the
  ability of current catchers mask designs to
  reduce head acceleration from frontal impacts of
  a baseball compare the acceleration performance
  of the several mask designs suggest design
  modifications based on acceleration analysis

• Key Features
• Project Scope The scope of this project is to
  analyze linear and angular head accelerations
  from frontal impacts at two locations. From these
  analysis we will recommend design changes to
  current masks.
• Deliverables
• 2-D of freedom model incorporating the head-neck
  system already developed
• Detailed comparison of current mask design
  performance based on acceleration data gathered
  in first round of testing
• Design modifications
• Results of secondary testing on modified designs
  (time permitting)
