WP 2 Quality Assurance Plan
  • Aims
  • set quality assurance procedure for review and
    approval of deliverables
  • measure defined level of specific standards
  • evaluate the results of project implementation,
    comparing standards, recording deviations and
    shortcomings
  • Main Activities
  • monitoring, evaluation and reporting the
    effective realisation of project objectives
  • elaboration of a project quality plan (which will
define the general and specific quality
    objectives of the project)
  • Partners role
  • Partner 2 (ISFOL) co-ordinates the WP2

5
The Quality Assurance Plan
  • 1) The European Framework for Vet Quality
    Assurance
  • 2) Description of project development and
    implementation
  • 3) Monitoring methodology
  • 4) Evaluation of the deliverables
  • 5) Responsibilities
  • 6) Instruments
  • Checklist for assessing the consistency of the
    Project Plan with EQARF
  • Monitoring form
  • External events and web site evaluation
  • Internal evaluation for Working documents
  • Evaluation of final products

6
WP 4 Methodology set-up
  • Aims
  • development of a methodology of analysis and
description of a range of professional
qualifications at Level 3 EQF with reference to a
pilot occupational sector (Tourism) in terms of
    units of learning outcomes
  • Main Activities
  • pre-study of the existing methodologies
concerning the description of the units of
learning outcomes and the VET credit system
  • pre-analysis of policies and trends on credits
transfer and recognition for target groups
considered disadvantaged in the Labour Market
(for example adults, drop outs and other
    disadvantaged groups) in project partner
    countries
  • short descriptive analysis of the components of
each qualification concerning the pilot sector
    selected
  • elaboration of a matrix/grid/schedule that
permits to describe the qualifications and the
    processes of evaluation, validation and
recognitions of the units of learning outcomes
  • elaboration of guidelines in order to use the
    methodology defined
  • Partners role
  • Partner 5 (ICELAND - MESC) co-ordinates the WP4

7
WP4 Deliverables
  • Background analysis (IS)
  • Technical and methodological principles of the
model A brief and straight collection including
the contributions of each partners about studies
and analysis necessary to develop the
    methodology.
  • Pilot sector report (IT- Isfol)
  • A report including the results of the methodology
on their units of learning outcomes and
    evaluation, validation and recognition processes
    within the pilot sector
  • Methodology manual (IS)
  • A methodological manual describing the process of
setting up the methodology developed among
    partners and shared with stakeholders.
  • The manual is composed by a practical tool and a
    guideline.
  • The manual will also be available in several
languages, other than English, as each partner
will then translate it into their own languages
    for dissemination purposes.

8
WP 5 Model development
  • Aims
  • develop a Model Of Transferability of learning
Outcome units (M.O.T.O.) as a functional device
that will facilitate the validation, recognition
accumulation and transfer of units of learning
    outcomes in different VET systems
  • Main Activities
  • identification and selection of common units of
learning outcomes, as well as common processes of
    validation, recognition accumulation of those
    selected common units
  • elaboration of a flexible and practical Model in
order to permit the transferability of the
selected common units of learning outcomes
  • elaboration of guidelines that will facilitate
    testing activities
  • Partners role
  • Partner 3 (AUSTRIA 3 s) co-ordinates the WP5

9
WP5- Deliverables
  • The M.O.T.O. model (AT)
  • A manual including a practical tool that permit
the transferability of the units of learning
outcome among the partners and to supply an
example of transferability for the others
countries involved in the ECVET experimentation
    processes
  • The manual will also be available in several
languages, other than English, as each partners
will translate it in their own languages
  • The users guidelines (AT)

also by the others countries involved in the
    ECVET experimentation processes

10
WP 6 Field Testing
  • Aims
  • verify the feasibility and practicability of the
methodology and the model set up
  • Activities
  • development of practical activities carried out
mainly in Technical Secondary Schools (in
transborder regions) in order to test the
feasibility of the processes of comparability and
    transferability
  • the improvement of the process of ECVET credits
    recognition and transfer
  • Partners role
  • Partner 4 (FNBE) co-ordinates the WP6

11
Field testing some questions
