Rubric

• Imagine that you are running a travel agency and
  you need to create a travel brochure to attract
  travelers to Maryland. Each group will be
  responsible for researching one of the four
  regions. Your travel brochure will be completed
  on the computer. Your travel brochure should
  contain the following
• Title Page (5 Points) with the name of your
  region and all of the names of your group.
•  
• Location (5 points)- To show the location of the
  region you will need to find a map of the state
  or region and import it into the brochure.
•  
• Historical Significance (5 points) - You will
  need to find out why that region of the state is
  important and anything significant that has
  happened in that region.
•  
• Places of Interest (5 Points)-Because this is a
  travel brochure you want people to come to
  region. To attract visitors you should find
  places that might interest a tourist.
•  
• Interesting Facts (5 points) -You can use this
  part of your brochure to add anything you found
  interesting about your region.
•  
• Pleasing to the eye (5 points)- Your brochure
  should be easy to read and follow. It needs to
  make use of color and, if possible, pictures.
  Should also be free of grammatical errors.
