Who is Midland Heart?
  • Midland Heart is one of the top ten housing and
    regeneration groups in the country and the
    largest based in the Midlands.
  • Every year we invest more than 100 million in
    improving homes, building new ones and making
    neighbourhoods more desirable and sought after
    places to live.

Older Peoples Services
  • Older Peoples Services provide housing, extra
    care and support services to over 4,500 residents
    who live in specifically designed Extra Care and
    Retirement Housing.

Retirement Housing
  • We have over 100 retirement housing schemes
    across the Midlands. Our retirement housing is
    carefully designed to be comfortable and secure.
    Most of our retirement schemes provide a mix of
    one and two-bedroom apartments we also have
    sites with bungalows and maisonettes that are
    available to either rent or buy.Retirement
    Schemes have an on-site or visiting manger and a
    robust security system for peace of mind.

Magic Moments
  • Magic Moments was set up in 2004 within Older
    Peoples Services with the aim of helping our
    residents keep their independence through
    activity based events.There are a host of
    events every year which aim to meet peoples
    social, emotional, physical and intellectual
    requirements.

T.L.C.
  • Everyone needs a helping hand now and again and
    with our Home Support Service, our older
    residents can get assistance, for example with
    Housework Ironing Laundry Minor
    Repairs

Well Being
  • Our well being service is still in its early
    stages so is limited to certain schemes, however
    we are looking at providing to more of our older
    residents. Our advisors, who are registered
    nurses, helps customers improve their overall
    health and well being.
  • Individual well being action plans are created
    for customers as well as offering advice to
    groups of older people at fun days.

Extra Care Housing
  • We operate 7 Extra Care housing schemes in
    Wolverhampton, Walsall and Coventry providing 24
    hour care and support services to older
    residents. This enables them to maintain their
    independence and choice within their own home
    environment whilst having the assurance of
    support available plus on site services.
  • In partnership with the Extra Care Charitable
    Trust we also operate a further 17 extra care
    housing schemes including two villages.
