Recycling at BMS

Every two to three weeks you may see students at
Beatrice Middle School walking the halls with
trash bags full of paper, plastic, newspaper,
magazines, and loads of cardboard.

Studentshelp recycle the waste paper products
generated by the middle school alongwith plastic
bottles that some of the teachers save.

The bags are then loaded on a truck which takes
it to the local recyclingcenter.

"We have literally saved tons of waste from being
put into our community's landfill," stated
Policky.

It is a small part in saving resources and our
earth, but ifeveryone did just a small part, we
would make a huge difference.

Please do your part Place recyclable products
in the blue recycling containers located in each
room at the middle school and administration
building. Help make a difference!
