Academic Content

• Social Studies- California History
• Math- Basics including multiplication and
  division, problem solving,etc.
• Language Arts

• Science- Hands on as much as possible
• Art- Various mediums used, variety of artists
  studied
• Health, P.E., and Music- taught by specialists

HOMEWORK!

• Monday through Thursday
• Usually Spelling and Math
• Always reinforcement of what has been taught

Discipline System

• Paycheck system- Earn Frantzs Francs for
  completing tasks, good behavior, etc. May have
  to pay a few bills as in real life for other
  choices they have made. Reward Day at the end of
  the month.
• Weekly letter home to you written by student-
  signed by me.

• Date and information will be given later

Parent Volunteers

• Room Parent to coordinate parties
• Banker- writes out weekly checks for me to
  sign. This can be sent home or done in the room
• Library Assistant-Weekly set time. Checks books
  in and out.
