MAN 310
  • International Business

2
Objective
  • Provide students with a firm understanding of
    international business.
  • Given the importance of global events and
    globalization of business operations, students
are expected to grasp relevant theoretical and
    practical approaches/issues to better understand
    the word of international business.

3
Requirements
  • Familiarity with the basic principles of
    business management is assumed.
  • Students are required to attend classes
regularly and participate in class discussions.
Class participation, measured by attendance and
participation in discussions, will be a part of
your grade directly. Students are expected to
obtain a copy of the textbook as not all the
material will be covered in the course in detail,
and instructor will direct the students to
relevant sections in the book for additional
    readings.

4
Requirements
  • Grades in the course will be based upon
  • two-midterm exams (60),
  • a final exam (30),
  • class participation (10).
  • Final exam will not be cumulative. In other
words, final exam will cover the material
    discussed after the midterm exam.

5
Requirements
  • Cheating will not be tolerated under any
circumstances. Cheating includes (but is not
limited to) bringing unauthorized materials to
the tests looking at, copying from, or otherwise
colluding with anyone during the tests
unauthorized relocation or removal of the test
script. Anyone engaging in these activities will
automatically receive an F grade in the course.

6
Office Hours
  • Office hours are open to all students, for
discussion of any topic. No appointment is
necessary. If you are not clear on something, I
