Open Positions (1)

• Acquisitions Operations

• Loads and requests for new loads has increased
  over 100 since last year. We will not be able
  to implement any new services (MARC record loads)
  until we get another person in this unit.

Open Positions (2)

• Order Support Team

• There is currently a growing backlog of new
  standing orders. There is no one to search and
  order these materials.
• The Exchange program needs to be revamped. We
  get many materials returned due to incorrect
  addresses. There is no cross-checking to see if
  we are receiving materials from the Exchange
  partners to whom we send materials.

• Monograph Support Assistant

• With a recent retirement and another pending
  within the next few weeks, we do not have the
  capacity to keep up with incoming materials.
  The end-of-year receipts have caused our
  carryover to increase tremendously.

Open Positions (4)

• FST Financial Assistant

• There are only two people in Fiscal Support.
  They process invoices for multiple Yale
  libraries. Inadequate staffing in this
  department has been a growing problem. Just
  getting through the backlog will take some time.

Challenges

• Getting Serials up to speed / SWETS transfers to
  Harrassowitz
• Electronic Collections position
• Getting approval accounts in sync with Voyager.
• Paying vendors wheres the money?
• Rollover commitments whats the story?
