• I believe its very important to have a hero.
  Someone to look up to, to follow their lead. A
  person you can always count on being there for
  you. Someone to express your feelings to. For
  me, my dad fills those needs for me.

Listens

• When I have a bad day at school, I can always
  depend on him to listen to me discuss my
  problems. I enjoy talking to my dad about
  these type of things because he thoroughly
  listens and then gives me his best advice.

Successful
My dad is a LASER engineer. He graduated from
M.I.T. in Boston, Massachusetts. He started his
own company, with a goal to create lasers that
can help the environment.

• Then we moved to California and he joined a
  different laser company. Hes also great at
  teaching new concepts to others.

Optimistic

• Going into sixth grade, theres a ton of
  homework- compared to elementary school.
  Usually, homework is reasonable, but there comes
  those rare nights where Im completely covered by
  it. Thats where my dad comes in. My
  dad helps me calm down, so Im actually
  able to get the work done.

Thoughtful of Others

• It doesnt matter whether its a holiday or its
  just a regular day, my dad is always thinking of
  others, hes never self centered. Hes always
  trying to see how he can help out the family,
  especially when it comes to school.

My dad is always willing to crack a joke. Its
mostly funny because he says things at the most
random times. Even when he isnt funny, we still
laugh to make him
feel good shhhhhhh!

Loving

• My dad is one of the kindest people I know.
  Whenever someone needs help, hell always be glad
  to lend a hand. Hes willing to take a little
  time to focus on someone elses needs. That just
  goes to show that hes a loving guy.
