Computing

• Mainly worked the compilation of Root under
  WindowsXP with VC
• VC 9 is too new for the compilation.
• Finally I was able to compile root with VC9.
• Continue work with Madtools package.
• Working on the virtual machine installation under
  linux.
• Working on Opensolaris and ZFS.
• Files are more safe and performance should be
  better.
• Virtual SLC4 on Opensolaris.
• PANDA
• Waiting for the last task to be finished. Paul
  suggested us not to submit new task before the
  existing task all finished.

GLOW production

• Tapas is still working on the preparation of the
  Alfast generation.
• Elizabeth use GLOW windows machine. (2000 jobs in
  total)
• Elizabeth use GLOW machines. (10000 jobs, 5000
  jobs finished.)
• Elizabeth is working on job submission at BNL.
• Yaquan uses GLOW for ToyMC. (3000 jobs)
• Yaquan uses CERN cluster for ToyMC. (5000 jobs)
• Bill uses CERN cluster for his stuff.
• Annabelle use GLOW but she had some problem with
  job matching.
