• Childrens rights to shelter, education,
  protection, not be exploited, and receive
  effective treatment
• Legislation Social policies will support
  children and families, protect childrens rights
  during family disruptions, provide good
  education,and deal fairly with young offenders

Developmental Psychopathology

• In research and practice, there will be an
  increasing interdependence between developmental
  and clinical research
• The abnormal normal dichotomy in children
  will blur instead, common processes will be
  examined
• This is reflected in students my child
  responses
• Prevention will become critical if it can be
  shown to be cost-effective
