• Plastic catheter with poly bulbs or 2 ml syringe
  ampule of semen.
• Deposit semen just into the body of uterus.
• Greater portion of sperm will travel to the
  oviduct ipsilateral to the CL.
• Sperm has receptors for substance produced by
  oviduct.
• Semen deposited in cervix 15 less efficient.
• 20 to 40 million sperm per AI.
