13Objectives of the INTERREG IIIA North priority
- Balancing the overall development conditions and
elimination of development hindrances caused by
geographical location through integrating the
border regions (on the external border) - Strengthening the cross-border relations in
various structural fields of activities (on the
EU internal border).

- To utilise the cross-border co-operation
potential to facilitate the socio-economic
development of the cross-border co-operation
territory.

- The first Call for proposals was launched on
October 1. Altogether 5 Calls for proposals were
organised. - As all ERDF and Tacis funding allocated for the
INTERREG IIIA Priorities North and South has
already been committed, no further Calls for
Proposals will be organised. - Altogether there are 53 projects approved in the
INTERREG IIIA Priority South. - Altogether there are 46 projects approved in the
INTERREG IIIA Priority North.

problems in environment protection and resource
