European Integration

• SAA implementation
• SAA entered in to force-1st April 2009
• Submission of application for Candidate status on
  28 April 2009
• Monitoring the NPI-SAA implementation-
  contribution for EU progress report
• EU-Albania joint structures have been set up as
  of SAA entry into force
• First meeting of EU-Albania Association Council
  met on 18th May 2009/ and several Joint
  Committees
• IPA
• IPA 2009 Programming - finalised
• IPA 2010 Programming ongoing
• Translation process of acquis into Albanian
  in progress
