WHAT IS ACTION 3?

• Designed to disseminate the key learning points
  from KEEP
• Mainstreaming of good practice to policy makers
  and partners
• Building new networks to take forward what has
  been learnt from KEEP
• Started in August 2003
• Funding continues to November 2005
• All KEEP partners remain actively involved in
  this phase

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

• Seminars for local employers begin in June on
  impact of DDA- led by Kent Supported Employment,
  supported by Kent Association for the Blind and
  Shepway Business Centre
• Lunchtakers programme has now expanded to new
  areas of Kent and a training and delivery pack
  will be produced to allow further expansion to
  disadvantaged areas
• Social enterprise development in Kent is being
  disseminated via events across the UK- Focus to
  Work Trust will open Impressions in Margate
  very shortly and has already developed three
  other social firms
• The development and accreditation of soft skills
  is being disseminated to other voluntary groups
  working with disadvantaged in Kent and beyond
