emergency service capacity. Additionally, the
policy covers accidental dismemberment.
15North Carolina State Firemens Association
- This would be optional for the fire departments
across North Carolina! They can choose not to
participate. - This would be a great tool for departments for
recruitment and retention (huge benefit)!! - Provides the fire departments the NVFC toolbox
of resources and national level representation.
16How It Works
- The NCSFA includes the 10 per person NVFC
membership as an option on your annual invoices - Payments will be made directly to the NCSFA
- A roster, along with the payment of 10.00 per
person, will be submitted to the NVFC - Rosters and payment for both the NCSFA and NVFC
dues will be remitted annually (January 31st)
(Critical) - NVFC processes the new members and sends a
welcome packet describing all the new member
benefits
17Example
- Your NCSFA dues notice will arrive in November
for your annual NCFSA dues (2010). - Keep in mind the NVFC piece is OPTIONAL.
- Example
- Cherryville FD
- 42 firefighters X 10.00 420.00
- This is above and beyond the NCSFA annual dues.
18NVFC Dues Payment
- Payment Options
- Through your normal department budget

- Through you fire departments Relief Fund monies
