  1. Adrift- Being absent or late for an
    appointment
  2. Alongside- To proceed to the side of a ship
    or dock
  3. Bright work- Polishing of metal fittings
  4. Eye- Usually talking about a small hole or
    loop
  5. Foul- Entangled, obstruction or dirty

  1. Fender- A cushion between boats
  2. Galley- Kitchen
  3. Gash- Rubbish
  4. Heads- Toilet
  5. Hoist- Raise, Elevate
  6. Jack Staff- Flag pole at the front part of
    the ship
  7. Leeward- Side of the ship that is opposite
    the wind
