Step 1

• Create a sitting arrangement for groups of four.

Step 2

• Pass out one group card to each student.
• Use only the number of cards for the number of
  students you have.
• (i.e. If you have 32 students, use cards for
  groups 1 8)

Step 3

• Students will now sit in the group that their
  card has on it.
• Each group will have an addition, subtraction,
  multiplication, and division fraction problem on
  their group cards.

Step 4

• Each student will create a poster using the
  problem that is on the card.
• The poster will include
• Visual Representation
• Algorithmic Representation
• Written Explanation
• Another Example

Step 5

• Each student will write a presentation for their
  poster on 3 x 5 cards.

• Each group will present their posters together.
